An exhibition of paintings and etchings titled Significant Sites is on display at Crows Nest Regional Art Gallery until June 1.
Works by regional artist Chris Abrahams draw on his experiences living in Australia and the contrasts he encountered on a recent trip to Cambodia.
He uses remnants of sites as examples of different cultural layers.
Despite working in numerous mediums, Chris links his pieces through the common bond of a connection to place and the land.
Chris has a background in art education. He has received several awards for his work, which has been shown in solo and group exhibitions around Australia.
An exhibition opening will be held at the Gallery from 1.30-3.30pm on Sunday, May 11. Refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP to attend the official opening by calling the Gallery on 4698 1687.
